Ash and Gold

The FIRST book, “Ash and Gold”, gets its theme from these verses:
“Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.” (Psalm 119:18)
“But from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul.” (Deuteronomy 4:29)
“I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently find me.” Psalm 8:17)
“How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!” (Proverbs 16:16)
The Ash stands for evil and the Gold, righteousness. As her eyes are opened, the Main Character, Augusta, learns to discern between good and evil.
The FIRST book is about how God opens a person’s eyes to discern right and wrong, and draws them to Himself.
